Post-Brutalism

As more than fifty years have passed since the Concrete Cultural Revolution of the 1960s and 70s, it feels like a good time to re-evaluate the ambition of that panel fuelled era; one followed by a heavy demise thanks to a whole host of problems. Perhaps the most significant of these is the undefinable nature of concrete itself, perfectly conceptualised and summarised in Concrete & Culture by Professor Adrian Forty.
